What are Kniazeff colors for silk?

Kniazeff colors are steamable colors for silk and wool.
These colors are fixed to the silk with steam in a steamer, following the manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Water / alcohol solution of synthetic organic dyes
  • Colors miscible with each other and not dangerous under normal conditions of use
  • Very concentrated colors needing to be diluted:
    - Dark tones, add 10% of a water / alcohol mixture
    - Medium tones, add 50% of this same mixture
    - Pastel Tones, use a few drops of color in the WATER / THINNER mixture
  • Can be used with or without gutta outlines and can be mixed with a thickener
  • Reacts to salt
  • Fixing required in an steamer
  • First wash recommended with Silkwash by H-Dupont or Lavnet, then Surfix.
