Double dye kit - H Dupont

Do you want to make a double dye?

Quantities: for 1L of water (25-35 g of tissue), add 10 ml of Alter Ego, 5 ml of Classic, 6 drops of fixative, 3 of vinegar and 5 ml of coarse salt.

Warning: The Alter Ego color will dye the viscose part of your fabric (ie the soft velvet part).

The H Dupont color will color the silk part of your fabric.

Follow these simple steps:

• In a pan of warm water, pour the Alter Ego and Classique dyes, the fixer, the vinegar and the coarse salt. In water, the colors "blend" and then separate on the fabric.
• Immerse the still wet fabric in the mixture. Stir 5 min over medium heat then bring to a boil for 5 min.
• Leave to stand in the mixture for 10 minutes off the heat.
• Fix in the microwave 2 times 2 min with a glass of water or fix with an iron.

The content of the kit is as follows:

• 1 bottle Alter Ego 50 ml 241 Infinite Blue
• 1 bottle Alter Ego 50 ml 435 Garance
• 1 bottle Alter Ego 50 ml 725 Daffodil
• 1 bottle of H Dupont classic 50 ml 221 Cyan
• 1 bottle of H Dupont classic 50 ml 420 Carmine
• 1 bottle of H Dupont classic 50 ml 717 Primary yellow
• 50 ml of vinegar for tincture
• 50 ml of Alter Ego fixative
• 1 graduated plastic dropper
• 2 graduated plastic cups with lids
• 1 pair of disposable gloves
