More info

Also called "printing paste" when it is used in the technique of Deco Reco, the thickener is the auxiliary that allows you to change the consistency of your Classic, Alter Ego or Deco Reco to prevent them from diffusing.

The paints have a more pasty texture on application.

Unlike the anti-fusant that is applied over the entire surface, the thickener only changes one colour. It is therefore used for other techniques. For example, create brush details on a coloured background without fussing. It is also possible to make stencils, silk screen printing.

Available in bottles of 100, 250 or 1000 ml.

How to use the H Dupont thickener?

Mix 25 to 50% thickener with the colour. The more thickener there is, the less the colour will diffuse. It becomes thicker.

Apply the mixture with a brush or a pad. It is not necessary to use a set because the paint does not fuse anymore.

If you want to bleach, first mix the pure decolourant with the thickener according to the Deco Reco technique for brush or sponge application.

Clean the used equipment with water.

Why buy H Dupont thickener?

  • Prevent the chosen colour from spreading

  • Create details, patterns or stencils on a painted background

  • Indispensable for fading with pure bleach and Deco Reco technique
